Is the reservation really refundable?
Yes. Fully refundable anytime before your phone ships. Email connor@kaicalls.com and we'll refund the full $25 to your card. Card refunds usually show up within 5 to 10 business days.
How much will KaiPhone cost?
The final price is announced to reservation holders first, and your $25 comes off it. You decide then: buy your KaiPhone, or take your $25 back.
When does it ship?
The ship date is shared with reservation holders before anything else is charged. We'd rather give you a real date than a guess.
Will it work with my carrier? Can I keep my number?
KaiPhone is being built as a 4G LTE phone for US networks, and the exact carrier list comes with the final spec. You keep your number by moving your SIM, like any unlocked phone.
Can I use Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp?
No, and that's the point. There's no app store or social feed. You get calls, texts, calendar and reminders, music, maps and Kai.
Do I have to use the AI?
No. KaiPhone works like a normal phone. Kai only steps in when you press the AI key.
What can Kai actually do?
Suggest replies to a text, turn shorthand like “r l 10” into “Running late, I'll be there in 10”, change the tone of a message, set reminders and answer quick questions.
Who makes KaiPhone?
